Pet collecting has been present in WoW since it’s been released. Some people have gone a little more hard-core about it than others. Well, I’m presenting the question, is it worth the time and effort? Up until this point, I’ve thought of pet collecting to be pointless and a waste of money and bag space. However, with the Wrath of the Lich King approaching, and it’s change to how pets are stored, I’m somewhat starting the pet collecting thing. Now, I have a small collection going, and I don’t plan on it getting much bigger before Wrath, for inventory reasons alone. I know you’ve probably been in a raid or something and have seen someone with a really cool non-combat pet, and you really really want one. Well, I want to be the person with the non-combat pet for a change. If you would like to start your own collection, I would higly recommend going over to WarcraftPets.com, creating an account, and start tracking your collection online. You have to manually update your collection, but I guess there’s no way it could do it for you, unless there was a mod or something that would check your inventory for the non-combat pets. However, there isn’t one to my knowledge, so you’ll have to update your profile on your own.
